Batter up! Whether you are familiar with the game of softball or want to knock it out of the park for the first time, there’s a spot for you in HISRA’s Special Olympics program! Those interested in team will experience instruction and practice time with knowledgeable coaches and volunteers. Practice will be held at Franciscan Recreation Complex. Additional fees will be charged if your team advances to the State Championships.
Players will be divided into teams based on appropriate skill level after the first practice. All athletes will be expected to be at the first practice from 6:00pm – 8:00pm to display current skill levels and knowledge of the game. After teams are divided, athletes will be notified of their practice time. Each team will practice for one hour from 6:00pm – 7:00pm, or from 7:00pm – 8:00pm.
